Where:
Quan Bia Minh - No 7A Dinh Liet Street, Hanoi
Food:
Bia Minh offers a large and extensive menu. Offerings include western style food including Spaghetti Bolognaise and Banana Pancakes or if you like Vietnamese you can have Spring Rolls, Hot Pots and much more.
There are plenty of options for the vegetarians.
Cost:
With most dishes on the menu quite cheap you could expect to pay somewhere between 20,000 – 65,000VND per main. The most expensive were the seafood and mixed hot pots which go for 220,000VND, but will feed several mouths!
Drinks, including fruit shakes and beer are around 15 – 20,000VND. Fresh Beer Halida, or Bia Hoi, goes for a super cheap 7,000VND per glass.
Fav Food:
The several times we have eaten there, we generally get several Vietnamese dishes and share. Chicken with Lemon Grass (see photo above) and Fried Vegie Springs are always nice.
Pancakes or a fruit shake are good to finish with.
The Good Oil:
Popular with backpackers, Quan Bia Minh is best described as “Cheap and cheerful”. The food is not extraordinary, but definitely tasty and the prices won’t mean you leave with an empty wallet!
Sitting outside will allow you to catch the breeze and enjoy the views of the busy streets below.
Out of 10:
7/10 - Tasty, cheap and good service.
.
World Nomads - Cheap, easy and flexible!
